Auto dealer license Oregon? Well you can do it the easy way through us just by filling out the form to your right….or….you can take these steps on your own.
Dealers must be licensed by the state.
Dealer license fees:
Approximately $1,003 for a three year registration (includes one plate). Dealer plates are issued to be used for demonstration and delivery purposes. Personal use is also permitted.
New dealer must have pre-licensing education.

8 hour class, $200. See Education web site at www.oiada.com for more information about becoming an Oregon dealer.
Dealers must have Bond, Lot Liability Insurance that also covers all vehicle use and local government approval of business location.
Current Bond is $30,000 per year, on a three year license.
Bond must cover license period.
Effective Sept. 1, 2003, Bond rises to $35,000,
Effective Sept. 1, 2004 Bond is $40,000.
First $20,000 of bond is liable for claims by business entities and consumers. Any value over $20,000 is only liable for claims by consumers.
