Windsor

WindsorAuto dealer license in Vermont would  soon be initiated. Windsor is a town in Windsor County, Vermont, USA. The population was 3756 at the 2000-census. Windsor village began the development in the late 18th century and gained importance in the history of Vermont as the location of the design of the Constitution, Vermont. It is known as the birthplace of Vermont, where the state constitution was signed, and served as a place the first capital until 1805, when Montpellier became the official capital.

Commerce thrived because of the position of village banks in Connecticut River, with several smaller rivers running into it. Better economy in the mid-19th century, when Windsor became the first city in the state to break ground for the construction of the railroad train depot. Windsor Station is connected to the city markets outside the State. It was after the railroad went through that the area was discovered by tourists.
