The city of Green Bay is located several miles northeast of the city. This is the third largest city in the state of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and Madison later. It is also the third largest city on the western shore of Lake Michigan, Chicago and Milwaukee. Green Bay is the main city of Green Bay Metropolitan Statistical Area, which covers Brown, Kewaunee, Oconto and counties, and had a total population of 282,599 in 2000-census. 2010-population in the Greater Green Bay was 306,241.
